Antilles Institute of Technology began operations in 2002. The main focus, at the time, was to create effective tools and solutions for educational institutions, faculty, administrators and students. Stephen Hernández, co-founder and lead programmer, having worked for various years as a high school mathematics teacher, perceived the urgent need for such tools. After various years of hard work, dedication and experience in the field, Lazarus® Application Suite for education was born. Due to its success in efficiently collecting and analyzing student records while providing an innovative interface for faculty and administrators with handheld technology, Antilles IT began to develop business oriented applications based on the experience obtained.

With the use of similar strategies and powerful applications, Antilles IT has been designing customized software solutions for small and medium companies in Puerto Rico. Its main approach has been to create customized, scalable and cost effective solutions to assist employees in their everyday tasks. Lazarus® for business is a web content management enabling tool that empowers companies to facilitate data information flow.
